Description Do you know lavender has ever been the royal herb of Europe?Queen Elizabeth I of England ordered that the royal table be supplied with a condiment made of it. Charles VI of France sat on cushions stuffed with it. Queen Victoria of England washed with it.


Lavendula comes from ‘lavare’, which means – to wash in Latin.Lavender Essential Oil has a medium-strength floral, herbaceous, sweet, and woody aroma presenting a middle fragrance note. It is the most versatile and Mother of all the essential oils for therapeutic purposes and often used to promote relaxation and being a nervous tension reliever. Not only does it mix well with most other essential oils, it is safe to apply neat onto the skin to treat burns. It contains a great amount of therapeutic properties, making it a must for first aid box at home! It can also be added to a carrier oil to help reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles and help soothe muscular aches.

Properties: Analgesic, anti-depressant, anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, fungicidal, carminative, cicatrisant, cordial, decongestant, deodorant, diuretic, emmenagogue, hypotensive, nervine, restorative, sedative, vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, insecticide

Blends well with Pretty much all other essential oils. Particularly, Rosemary, Geranium, Marjoram, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Clary Sage, Orange
  • Add to massage oil to calm overworked or stiffed muscles.
  • Diffuse before bedtime to promote calm and relaxation
  • Add to DIY recipes for lotion or linen sprays


Mental exhaustion synergy

  • 5 Lavender
  • 5 Rosemary
  • 5 Orange

Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed or diffuse 5-10 drops.

Bites and burns

  • 10 Lavender
  • 4 Tea tree
  • 4 Roman Chamomile
  • 1 Peppermint
  • 7ml Jojoba oil

Add the above oils to a 50ml bottle and fill with aloe vera. Shake to mix well. Re-apply 2-3 times a day or as needed. Shelf life: 1 month. Keep refrigerated to prolong shelf life.

Soothing Foot Soak

  • 1  Tea Tree
  • 3  Lavender
  • 2 litres warm water

Optional: Epsom Salt

Mix oils and water together in a pail. Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes.

Grounding Synergy

  • 5 Cedarwood
  • 5 Lavender
  • 5 Sandalwood

Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed or diffuse 5-10 drops.

Fragrant sachet: Fill an empty sachet bag with cotton balls. Add: 6-10 drops of Lavender to the sachet filling; close and place the sachet in drawers, or hang in your closet.

Safety Oil specific

Generally non-irritating and non-sensitizing. May not suitable for people with low blood pressure.


For external use only. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified practitioner. Do not use undiluted on skin. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Keep away from children and eyes. If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician.To extend shelf life keep in a cool dark place with cap tightly sealed or refrigerated.
